CONNECT (For the Coach)

 

Step 1: Make sure Bluetooth is on and open the Beyond Pulse app

 

Step 2: Select your team

 

Step 3: Check that all of your players are listed and simply hit the “Connect and Start Training” button!

 

Step 4: You will receive a notice of how many belts connected. Press “Continue” to begin training. Here are some trouble shooting options if not all of the belts sync:

·     Once all players are within 10 yards, make sure that

o  belts are properly placed on their chest;

o  belt electrodes have skin contact (not over the undershirt or bra);

o  belt sensor module is properly attached to the belt (i.e. both electrodes are slotted in);

o  belt sensor module is blinking blue once every 5-15 seconds;

Ø if it's not blinking, it's not going to be picked up by the app - you need to double-check the first 3 points;

Ø if belt is still not blinking, detach the module from the belt, then reattach it again and check if it is blinking now;

Ø if even that fails, remove the battery from the module for a few seconds, then return it, then check the blinking again

      After starting the session – How to add players

     DON'T LET THE PLAYERS RUN AWAY YET! EVERYONE SHOULD BE LOOKING AT THEIR BELT!

     if all belts are blinking green once every few seconds - this is good & and it means that the belts started recording;

     if a belt does not start blinking green (it can take up to 10s after the Timer screen appears), this means that the belt didn't start recording; check the app for the number of players in the session (displayed on the Timer screen):

o   if the number of belts in the session is lower than the number of originally detected belts (on scan), this means the belt did not respond to the "start recording" command for some reason; you should be able to add this belt to the session using the Add Player button;

o   if the Timer Screen reports all belts are in session but some belts did not start blinking green - this is a problem! Stop & sync the session, restart the app, and then start a new session!

 

Step 5: Set down phone and train!
